Meet Paul Corrie – Bringing Expertise and Commitment to Commercial Sales

With over three decades in the industry, Paul Corrie, our Commercial Sales Director, brings a depth of knowledge and real-world experience that sets Nova apart, especially when it comes to social housing and commercial projects.

Paul began his career in the window industry as an apprentice Service Engineer at just 18 years old. His early years saw him gain hands-on experience across fabrication, installation, shopfronts, and even 24-hour call-out services. That foundation naturally led him into surveying, and later into domestic sales for a national window and door company. By 30, Paul had stepped into trade sales,  a move that brought his product knowledge and production insight directly to the customer.

“Because I’ve worked on the tools, in production, and in sales, I can relate to our customers. That understanding builds trust, they know I’ve walked in their shoes.”

Around 25 years ago, Paul played a key role in Nova’s expansion into the social housing sector. This shift demanded a different approach, higher volumes, stricter regulations, and more complex customer needs. Paul recognised early on that success in this space relied on site expertise, strong communication, and a deep understanding of each client’s unique requirements.

He now works closely with local councils, contractors, and housing providers, guiding them through specification, compliance, and delivery, from the tender stage through to project completion.

“Every local authority is different. Their housing stock, their geography, their regulations, it all varies. Our job is to guide them with fully compliant, practical design solutions that work for their residents.”

Paul is on site from day one, supporting surveyors, meeting contractors, and laying the groundwork for a seamless process. He ensures that every window and door is not just built to spec, but built for the community it’s going into. From pre-surveys and stock condition reports to managing resident communication and repair recommendations, Paul and his team go the extra mile, always with an eye on efficiency and service.

Paul continues to actively develop Nova’s commercial partnerships, always looking for ways to deliver better outcomes through communication, care, and attention to detail. With 30 years of social housing experience, he knows what it takes to build strong relationships and deliver results that last.
